University Advisory Board for Social Media “Reach”
MomZing is a new technology-based project designed to provide moms and their new babies creative and fun ways to exercise and play together. Designed by principal investigator Dr. Cheryl Albright, MomZing is a hybrid intervention/research project using social media to recruit participants and get the word out about this innovative new technology. Based on the developmental needs of babies — along with the health needs of new moms — MomZing is the result of Dr. Albright’s 25+ years of health research at institutions including Stanford, UC Berkeley, and the University of Hawaii. Currently an Associate Professor at the University of Hawaii at Manoa’s Schools of Medicine and Nursing, Dr. Albright invited me to be a Social Media Advisory Board member to help guide MomZing’s social media strategy. (Look for links to MomZing later in 2012!)
